the parent trap

I know its actually pretty simple that I am at the point where I'm growing up and already think, feel, and have opinions for myself... and that sometimes those opinions don't necessarily match those of my parents. Well, okay I get it but I just wish they would trust me more. They always say its not me they don't trust, but other people. IT DRIVES ME CRAZY!

Like this one time, a bunch of my friends are going on a trip to Batangas for three days... I asked mom's permission but she said no with that famous parent-reason-of-all-time "Because I said so". I cried, I stomped into my room, moped and wonder why life is so unfair. (Sound familiar? Hahaha I know we girls do this when She says no) But then there's probably not much I can do to change their mind, and its only going to make me upset and lose some major credibility with them so I just sleep the day away hoping for a storm to come so that the trip would be cancelled. Haha

Anyway, it may be super frustrating and hard at times when my parents dont trust me enough to go on a 3-day vacay with my friends, but there are definitely things I can do to earn their trust! Like generally being a good kid, showing that I can keep curfew, doing well in school and a lot of other things. Hahahahaha with these, I know I would eventually earn their trust. But even if they really dont, I still love them. And even as nuts as they can make me... its usually because they love me and want what's best for me.
