Girlfriends and friends are the greatest! After all, who else can you share your deepest secrets with and know they wont tell anyone? Who else will split that huge chocolate sundae with you when youre feeling down? Who else can make you laugh until your stomach hurts? Dont get me wrong, no one can beat the kind of love we share with our families. But after our families, the most important relationships in our lives are with our friends. We have this different kind of relationships with our friends. Maybe its because were born into our families and they're always there for us, while we have to choose our friends for ourselves. And when things with our friends are going great, nothing could be better. At the same time, there's nothing worse than losing a friend.
Sometimes I think about the way we became friends. I think we prolly started talking to to each other and found out that we had common interests --- we liked the same band, have the same fashion sense, and enjoyed the same activities. How about you?
I have many friends. (I know this sounds like Im popular, but Im not, Im just sharin here). I know all of us have many friends too cos everyone wants to have more friends right? So Im sharing my ways on how I became friends with people easily.
Smile and say "Hi" to someone new everyday! it'll make them and you feel great! Just a simple smile and "hi" can make others want to get to know you.
If youre genuinely friendly and nice to everyone, people will definitely take notice and want to check you out! (as a friend)
Having confidence in yourself totally attracts others to ya! This does not mean being a "Snob". In fact, most snobs are insecure, thats why they have to act like they have all the confidence in the world. The key is to be REAL!
Dont be a know-it-all... its a total turn-off! :)
Be a good listener. Ask people questions about themselves. People love talking about themselves and what they are into. and lastly,
When talking to a friend, call them by their name! Use their name often when you talk, its guaranteed to make them feel special!
So let us start making more friends this school year! I am definitely making new friends! How about you?
